FlatDoor, Inc. is a startup business based in Las Vegas Nevada which focuses on developing innovative solutions to e-commerce. Our team of eight contributors is committed to develop the perfect marketplace for the next generation.We are a privately held, debt-free corporation with an initial round of seed capitalization provided by TravelRapidly, Inc. and VineLine, LLC angel investors.
Our inspiration comes from the Thomas L. Friedman's best selling book, "The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century" where "Globalization 3.0", as he calls it, is driven not by major corporations or giant trade organizations like the World Bank, but by individuals: desktop freelancers and innovative startups all over the world who can compete--and win."
We feel so strongly about Friedman's "The World Is Flat" concept, we named the company "FlatDoor", the doorway to the flat world of commerce.
